I thought about all the dramatic changes, shifts even, that have occurred in our society during my lifetime.   The God-given authority of a man, it has been misused and squandered away.  Maybe the smoky ruins of the patriarchy are deserved considering that men have engaged in too many great and terrible wars and have created bombs that can destroy the planet.  Obviously, men cannot be trusted.  The baby boomer generation became most aware of this post World War I and World War II, and especially considering the aftermath of the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan. I think our corrupt and terrible power has rendered us afraid of what confronts us in the honest mirror.  So we close our eyes and surrender to our sad self-demasculaton.  Running the gauntlet we go.  Rampant divorce.  Immorality.   Abortion.  And is that great slaughter of the unborn any less brutal than all the great wars combined?  No, it is an even greater sin as far as the numbers go.   Here are some numbers that will blow your mind:

• World War II (the Great War) - 70 to 85 million deaths
• All wars in the 20th century - between 108 and 203 million deaths
• Abortions worldwide since 1980 - 1.5 billion deaths

Looking at these numbers, that means that there have been between 7.38 and 13.88 times more deaths by abortion than by all wars in the 20th century.  If such big numbers are too abstract for you, lets just look at some numbers specific to the United States.

• All USA wars combined - 1.1 million deaths
• Abortions in the USA since Roe v Wade - 62 million deaths
• Planned Parenthood since 1970 has killed 8.9 million babies

But with abortions nothing goes "BOOM", and the blood runs down a timid sink rather than being spilled in the brazen streets of war.  To empower our women to take the lead we must be willing to slaughter the unborn.  It is the only way, for abortion is that great equalizer among the sexes.  For without it, and when the pill does not work, a woman becomes mother, and that becomes primary over career and girl power endeavors. 

With patriarchy cast aside, certain things are breaking down  The number of women having babies out of wedlock is skyrocketing.  The honored place of wife and mother is rapidly being reduced to "my baby's mama",  and that's okay just don't interrupt my secret click and scroll with my delicious digital date (porn).  And of course the devil will take our women now.  Adam did not protect Eve from the sly serpent.  We are no wiser.  And hooray for "gay pride".  After all, why not, we certainly deserve that to become front and center  for our cowardice and God forsaken ways. 

SO WHAT SHALL WE DO?

As men have shunned their God-given authority and responsibilities, a new power fills the expanding voids and takes over.  What is this power?  Liberalism. Consumerism. Socialism. Globalism.  What?  It's forming right now and we do not yet have a clear picture of what this monster will be.  One quote from an unknown source said this about the emerging power.

The commercialized and politicized push for multiculturalism and globalization is really nothing more than the destruction of ethnic historical cultures, in order to replace them, not with the homogeneous American culture, but with a “one-world, one (consumer) culture.” It is a synthetic religion of the marketplace, where people are expected to worship whomever or whatever the celebrities and politicians tell them they should like this week. Money and material gain have become the primary aim of society, with family, children, and service to the community of kith and kin, becoming nothing more than burdens that interfere with that self-indulgence.

That sums it up. This emerging worldly system is a synthetic religion.  Unfortunately, part of this religion involves the slaughter of the innocent.  As stated above, since Roe v. Wade, 62 million of the unborn have been killed in the US alone.  We have out-killed Stalin, Hitler, and Mao, all in the name of equality and progress.  We have become numb to it and hold our heads up as if we are the pinnacle of all civilizations.  Even some Christians tend to ignore it, vote Democrat, and show off some amazing verbal gymnastics skills to justify a vote for that party of death and decadence while ignoring the call to stand for righteousness. My observation is that most well-intended Christians that side with the party of kill, steal, and destroy do so because they are mentally intoxicated from drinking too much from the poisonous wells of our liberal education system, a hedonistic Hollywood, and corrupt news media.  Some are lifelong "liberalholics". I sobered up and stopped drinking the poisoned waters - what about you?

THE TRUE CHRISTIAN PLAN

A seemingly new system of power rises.  Its power grows.  Some call it liberalism, or progressivism, or humanism, etc.  But, it is more than that. This emerging new world order rejects God. Not face to face.  Rather, it crawls on its belly.  It slithers and strikes at the heel.  It lies.  It tries to redefine God and what God has told us.  It rejects absolute right and wrong.  It advances moral anarchy.  It claims fluidly in all things.  It has done away with the sins of the Bible and created fake sins with worldly names like: homophobia, xenophobia, misogyny, a  newly re-defined racism, transphobia, white privilege, etc.  But this new world order is not new.  It is that ancient serpent. 

 

EDIT: I wrote this at the end of 2020.  Now, five years later, I am calling this new system or world order "WOKE".

 

Meanwhile, the church of wheat and tares sits back and argues over right and left, red and blue, Capitalism and Marxism, etc.  What is this church of wheat and tares that I speak of?  Read the words of our Lord Jesus Christ from Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-43. Who is who?  Apparently, only the Angels can separate them in the end.  Our churches have become ineffective because they are overtaken by radical progressivism, just like everything else.  The church of wheat and tares has turned the field over to a sinful world and is often times even an accomplice in turning away from God and embracing sinfulness.

To me it is iconic that the very first thing God said to the newly created male and female was, “BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY AND FILL THE EARTH AND SUBDUE IT."  Now, a fallen and misled humanity responds back... with gender spectrum and an obese pet cat!

12. And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Matthew 24

37. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

I thought about Noah, the way things were before the Great Flood.  And now, I see it raining sin.  And I see a flood of sin.  We all see it in these days. And I prayed to the Lord. I reminded the Lord that he gave Noah a plan, a design.  The Lord told Noah to build an ark and gave him a design on how to build it.  I prayed to the Lord and asked Him where was our plan to deal with our time.  And I realized, the Lord has one for us:

  The church, the bride of Christ,  is our ark. 

And we are safe in the arms of our Bridegroom.

 

This is comforting.  Every family that looks to God and follows his plan will have a church, no matter what part of the globe they live.  The design is detailed plainly in the Bible.  In all its details, study the plan.  And, hopefully, this will involve connecting with other Godly families and living out God's plan.  We call it going to church.  Be certain to go to the right church, a fruitful church, a church that is not overrun with tares & serpents.  If you are going to a progressive church, find a better one.  Get involved in the life of the church. Build your ark.  It's raining sin and the rising flood of sin is all around.  Warn everyone that will listen.  This we do until that day, the day when the King returns and makes things new.

God said that the serpent would crawl on his belly and eat dust. Revelation shows us that a time comes when the serpent will rise up off his belly, stand, and fight as the dragon.  Has this begun? When it happens, then will be near the time for Jesus Christ the King to come again.  These are exciting times.  Hold fast, brothers and sisters.

But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion

of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open

the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

  Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
